Who Are We? – Florida Home Watch Association

We are an association of professional Florida Home Watch companies committed to providing professional quality services to each and every customer. We strive to present business models to the public that represent the home watch industry in a positive light without exception.

We believe, based on current market trends, we need more home watch companies to handle the growth of our industry in Florida. Together we can ensure we meet the current and future needs while growing our individual businesses the right way, where the customer’s needs come first.

Each member agrees to abide by our Core Values. Each member business is required to be registered with the State of Florida, the business owner(s) agree to a criminal background check, provide proof of generally liability insurance and bonding to protect their current and prospective customers.

We believe each home owner should provide their own due diligence research as well and should always ask for a copy of a “current” certificate of insurance and bonding from any home watch company they consider prior to entering into a service agreement.

How To Use Our Website

Clicking the “Find A Member” button above will take you to a page with a list of Florida counties currently serviced by one or more of our FWHA members. Select the county where your home is located.

You will then find a list of FWHA members servicing your area. Each listing will have the name of the company, contact information and a link to their website. The order of each list is based on how long the company has been an FHWA member and not their qualifications nor the length of time they have been in business.

Contact the individual member or members to schedule an appointment with them to discuss the details of how their home watch business will be able to best serve your home watch needs. We encourage every potential home watch customer to interview a minimum of 3 companies when possible. Individually and as an association, we believe a “good fit” for the customer is best. To that end we agree to compete in a positive manner explaining our strengths and how we might best serve you realizing that ultimately it is your comfort and choice that is most important.

Note: Our association does not endorse any particular home watch service and we are not responsible for the services provided by any member. We do require they provide a current in force insurance and bonding certificate annually, submit to a criminal background check upon application to the association and commit to conduct themselves and their business by adhering to the “Core Values” of the association.
